3 PM: TANGO FUNDAMENTALS (all levels)
4 PM: INT/ADV TANGO CLASS
3 - 6 PM:   OPEN DANCE FLOOR..
$12   includes all 3 hours   (discount avail. with class card)

CHANGING LEAD/FOLLOW ROLES is always OK as a modern idea, just for fun, or to improve your dancing.   Rotating with the class is always optional, but recommended. We teach open embrace style.. We play mixed tango music (both kinds; old and new).

Our music, sometimes called an ALTERNATIVE MILONGA (NUEVO) is still basically a tango dance (80-90 percent tango danceable), but with old and modern tangos mixed in. Let the DJ know if you would like a swing, salsa or blues song (during the last hour)..

Argentine Tango is an art form that people get fanatical about. Tango is an any age activity (I see teens to 80+ dancing at milongas). Great casual atmosphere. And unlike many milonga's, plenty of room on the floor to practice. Its always OK to swap lead and follow roles, because its fun, modern, and makes us better dancers. Learn to dance tango, and your social life will never be the same again.
